Due to the backflow of alkali in the calcination furnace, alkali often leaks from the furnace nozzle; is it feasible to install dust removal ports on the backflow alkali scraping plate for dust removal?
I don’t think it’s very feasible, as the leakage of alkali from the burner is due to problems with the sealing between the rotating and stationary rings. Adding dust removal devices to the scraper can only address the dust issue on that scraper; in my opinion, the chances of solving this problem are very low.
If alkali leaks from the burner, the key to controlling this issue lies in the positive and negative pressures within the burner as well as its sealing performance. In my opinion, a socket-ring seal can be used; however, this requires high standards regarding installation techniques, as well as high toughness and wear resistance from the materials used for the stationary and moving rings. (I haven’t used it; it’s just my personal idea. Those who are interested can work with the manufacturer to try carrying out modifications.) ）
Alkali leakage from the burner is related to improper pressure control inside the furnace and sudden deterioration in the sealing. Installing dust removal openings on the alkali-return scraping plate does not solve the problem of alkali in the burner.
