After completing the cleaning and pre-coating process for our unit’s circulating water system, and after reducing the iron ion concentration to 0.3 through wastewater displacement, we started to increase the concentration ratio. Yet even before that ratio reached 3, the iron ion concentration already exceeded 1.5. Could this be due to an inadequate cleaning and pre-coating process? During pre-coating, the samples in the collection tank appeared to have a good color, and there were no issues detected when using copper sulfate for titration! If it is because some parts of the basic cooling system were not turned on during cleaning and have now been turned on and put into use, resulting in rust in certain areas, what methods are there to control iron ions? Can the added chemicals control iron ions? ! ! ! By the way, our iron ion concentration for hydration is around 0.13
A specific analysis is required; usually, the concentration of the added substance needs to be adjusted first before increasing the concentration factor. I wonder how you did it
