Our facility generates styrene waste gas during the production of fiberglass. At present, we use a dual treatment method involving washing with organic solvents and activated carbon adsorption, and the results are satisfactory; however, since styrene ends up in the liquid phase, it is still necessary to treat the water as well. I wonder if any of you sailors have any good methods for treating waste gas containing styrene; it would be best if it’s not a combustion method.
At present, for waste gas treatment, the methods are either adsorption or combustion; it seems there are no other good options yet. I hope everyone will participate actively in the discussion.

I think the same; since adsorption doesn’t work, the only option is combustion

None of these treatment methods has yet managed to completely solve environmental protection issues. The treatment of solid waste or water after adsorption, as well as particulate matter or ammonia nitrogen contained in exhaust gases after combustion, may fail to meet the standards if online monitoring is not installed.
