What is the relationship between the nominal diameter of a burst disc and its discharge area?

Blowout valve devices are designed with a certain size, such as DN 80 or 3 inches. This dimension is actually the size of the flange at the installation location, and not the actual discharge size of the blast disc. The nominal diameter should refer to the inner diameter of the flange; this dimension is larger than the diameter corresponding to the actual discharge area of the burst disc device installed there. Additionally, when calculating the rupture disc device, there is a minimum discharge area and a minimum discharge dimension; this dimension is a number with decimal places, and we select a standard dimension that is slightly larger than it as the size for the rupture disc device.
The nominal diameter of rupture discs is specified in the relevant standards for rupture discs; I’ve forgotten the exact standard number. The calculation of the discharge area can be referred to in Appendix B of GB150
