A few years ago, during a winter in our factory, something similar happened: in the carbonization workshop, there was pressure buildup at the inlet of one of the high-mounted ammonia absorbers. It took several days to identify the cause, and in the end, as no other solution was available, the ammonia absorber had to be disassembled, with the related pipelines taken apart one by one. It was then discovered that there was a blockage in the liquid-phase outlet pipeline (the water cooler) of the high-mounted ammonia absorber. I hope this information is useful to you.

Another issue is that the ammonia water pump either does not deliver liquid or the pressure is not high enough to meet the process requirements; Another extreme scenario is a low liquid level in the liquid ammonia tank, causing the vent gas to enter the ammonia cooling system.
