This standard chemical engineering drawing provides clear instructions; there are specific regulations regarding the arrangement of equipment relative to one another, as well as the distance between equipment and walls, roofs, and beams. It is also possible to refer to the chemical engineering design manual.
When arranging the equipment, pay attention to the coordinates and orientation of the pipe openings, so that they are easy to understand; these same coordinates and orientation should be used in the future as well.
In the initial stage, I think the areas most prone to problems are the dimensions and alignment at the connection between the equipment and the pipe fittings, as well as the integrity of the dimension chain.
