Both the probes used for measuring vibration and displacement have pre-amplifiers; after being amplified, the signals are converted into standard 4–20 mA signals by signal transmitters. So what type of signal is there after passing through the pre-amplifier?
Displacement detection probe: DC voltage signal; Vibration detection probe: AC voltage signal
0~21VDC signal. The zero-point voltage for vibration is 9.75 V; the displacement depends on the specific circumstances and is determined by the movement of the shaft from the positive to the negative direction. Assuming a displacement of 32, the probe is adjusted so that the display shows +0.16 when the shaft is at one end, and –0.16 when it is at the other end. It is difficult to push the shaft to the middle position.

They are all DC millivolt signals. A variation of around 10 millivolts

The change in inductive reactance is then converted and amplified by an amplification circuit to produce a corresponding voltage change signal for output. Through conversion by a monitor, the DC component of its output voltage is used for detecting the displacement, while the AC component is used for detecting the vibration level, in accordance with the measurement requirements. The displacement probe outputs a DC voltage signal after passing through the pre-amplifier, and this signal needs to be transmitted in serial form. The vibration detection probe, on the other hand, outputs an AC voltage signal after going through the pre-amplifier; this voltage is usually around 10.
