Please share more information regarding the service life of the refractory bricks in your respective gasification furnaces. What is the maximum surface temperature of the gasification furnace during normal operation? Our company’s cylinder bricks can withstand 6,000 hours of use, cone-bottom bricks 4,000 hours, and arch-top bricks 8,000 hours; the maximum surface temperature of the gasification furnace is 290 degrees.
The Texaco cylinder bricks in our company have a service life of 18,000 hours for the cylinder part, 9,000 hours for the conical bottom, and 13,000 hours for the dome; the maximum surface temperature of the gasification furnace is 280 degrees, and it is currently in operation.
Is it really that long? Is it still because of the special burner being used?

The fire-resistant bricks on the first floor have a relatively short lifespan; those on the second floor seem to perform well, with the barrel part lasting 2 years and the conical bottom lasting 1 year.
I guess the quality of the refractory bricks is better than before.
It is meaningless and entirely devoid of any practical value to discuss and compare the lifespan of refractory bricks by ignoring other factors such as coal type, operation conditions, atmosphere, the quality of refractory bricks, and construction methods.
