The pressure difference between the horizontal pipes on the machine side and the coke side is too large. How should it be adjusted? I would appreciate some guidance from an expert.
What is the value of the mechanical focal side resistance?
What should be done if the side resistance at the machine focus is between 100 and 150? Is this too high?
It’s not the large temperature difference on the machine focus side, but rather the large difference in resistance across the horizontal tubes; some values are around 40-50, while others are around 100-150. How should this be adjusted?
For cleaning the horizontal tubes, check if there is tar and naphthalene accumulated inside Is your gas purification done?
Reply to 1# Manman: To clean the horizontal pipes, you can use fire (be careful). Increase the temperature of the gas preheater, replace the orifice plate, clean the vertical brick gas channels, and then check again.
Thank you all for your advice; our gas isn’t good. I’ll start by heating up the horizontal tube and cleaning it.
It’s best to remove the cross tubes for cleaning – it’s safe and effective, but it requires a lot of work
Cleaning with steam works too. Our factory uses steam for cleaning the horizontal pipes, and the results are decent; it’s also relatively safe^_^
If burning is to be done, proper preparations are necessary; a gas mask is essential. Using steam for cleaning is safer, though its effectiveness isn’t as good
