I don’t know the model of the fan’s foundation bolts; I only know the depth of the pre-drilled holes. Can I determine the model of the foundation bolts myself? Do I still have to get it from the equipment manufacturer?

The equipment specifications should be obtained from the manufacturer and provided to the design institute, which will determine the data for the fan foundation, such as the length and dimensions of the foot bolts. In principle, these things are all designed, not determined arbitrarily.
Reply to 1# zhouyijj: If you know the depth of the fan’s foot bolts as well as the diameter of the bolt holes in the fan base, then, in the case of non-large-scale fans, it should be possible to determine the required length yourself. The bolt length = depth of the fan foot bolt hole – 100 mm + thickness of the base + thickness of the shimming pad (30–50 mm) + exposed portion (about nut thickness + 10 mm). The bolt diameter = diameter of the base bolt hole – (2–3) mm
