Absolutely intolerant to chlorine gas. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Polypropylene can withstand high temperatures of around 160 degrees. As a chlorine pipeline, I think it should work.
PPH is generally used in secondary brine and some pipes in electrolysis processes; it is typically employed in ion-exchange membrane caustic pipes or wet hydrogen pipes, and it is not resistant to chlorine gas
The operating temperature for polypropylene (classified as PPR, PPB, and PPH) is highest for PPR, but a long-term operating temperature of over 100 degrees is not recommended. Polypropylene has slightly better resistance to free chlorine than polyethylene (PE), but this resistance is not ideal; therefore, it can be said that polypropylene is not resistant to chlorine gas. As for what someone upstairs said about polypropylene being able to withstand 160 degrees, I don’t know what the basis for that is
