When using Aspen Plus to simulate coal gasification, where is the coal flow rate set? It seems that there is no indication of the flow rate in the PSD and component attributes of the coal flow stream; it’s not visible either in the PSD and component attributes of Decomp. So where exactly is the coal flow rate determined? Please give me some guidance!

First, check whether your global type selection is correct; the parameters and physical property data for coal are entered in the NC sub-flow

Once you set coal as the unconventional component NC and activate the advanced settings in Properties for calculating the density of coal, you can specify the composition of coal in the component attributes of the flow; then, in the flow specifications, select NCXX from the subgroup name options, and subsequently set the coal flow rate.
