According to relevant data, the additional production capacity added between 2011 and 2012 totaled approximately 180,000 tons. Of this amount, while Liujiu Silicon Industry used the silane method, Daquan New Energy employed the thermal hydrogenation method, and Yinxing Energy, Xuntianyu, and Jingxin used physical metallurgy methods, cold hydrogenation technology was responsible for around 173,000 tons of the increased production capacity.

What to do with the final silicon tetrachloride residue after cold hydrogenation? I heard that several large companies have recently been under investigation for improper handling of waste liquids; only this last challenge remains, to see who can overcome it.
The residual liquid, containing too many metal impurities, can only be subjected to hydrolysis; it cannot be recycled. Forget about the residual liquid – it’s good enough if high-purity STC can be converted

Are Linzhou Zhongsheng and Yunnan Mingyong also engaged in cryohydrogenation? What process is used?
