Operation of electric heaters

The surface temperature of the electric heater used for air purification in our company has been excessively high recently. With no changes in the temperature control settings or air flow rates, the surface temperature of the electric heater used to be around 650°C at a power output of 60%; however, it has recently risen to 700°C, causing the electric heater to shut down. What is the reason for this?
First, check whether the thermal resistor or thermocouple is in good condition, and then examine whether there are any deposits on the surface of the electric heating element inside the electric heater.
