Our factory has two sets of 75t reverse osmosis high-pressure pumps; these two high-pressure pumps, with a capacity of 120 cubic meters each, drive the two reverse osmosis systems. But this morning, for some reason, the low-pressure protection of pump No. 2 suddenly stopped working, and the pressure in the pre-filter was still at 3 kg, yet low-pressure protection was activated anyway. What could be the reason? In the end, it still won’t start even when switched to manual mode; increasing the flow rate doesn’t help either. I suspect that either the ball valve core in front of the reverse osmosis system has come loose or the safety filter is clogged. Even after draining the air from the sand filters and carbon filters ahead, it still won’t start. We haven’t touched the high-pressure protection setting at all, and suddenly the low-pressure protection also stops working. Please help! Urgent assistance is needed.
This post was last edited by dongjiang1001 on 2011-9-21 at 17:52. Pressure gauges should be installed before and after the pump, as well as in front of the membrane. Try removing the fuse – those fuses tend to break easily.
I’m not quite sure where in the system the air enters; I’m not very familiar with the technical aspects related to the equipment. I hope experts can analyze this so that I can learn from it!
