For anti-corrosion inside brine treatment equipment, rubber lining or epoxy glass flake lining is generally used; although these are two different methods, in both cases sandblasting is required to achieve a rust removal level of Sa2.5

The temperature and alkalinity levels in saltwater should not be too high. Glass flakes are cheaper, easier to apply, and suitable for alkaline solutions. Both anti-corrosion measures require sandblasting for rust removal. Most manufacturers use glass flake. Additionally, I would like to recommend a corrosion-resistant material – polyurea, which can withstand temperatures of around 140 degrees, but its price is relatively high.

The anti-corrosion lining for saltwater tanks requires natural rubber, and on-site construction necessitates steam vulcanization at the site. The refined brine tank requires on-site lining with low-calcium and low-magnesium rubber, with a typical construction thickness of 4 mm. Using glass flake anti-corrosion methods is convenient for on-site application and inexpensive. The performance is definitely not as good as that of rubber.
