What is styrene-butadiene latex

Dear sea friends: I have a question regarding the styrene-butadiene latex project built by Kumho Petrochemical in Rizhao, Shandong Province, China. I’m wondering what styrene-butadiene latex is; could you please explain it to me? Is it styrene-butadiene rubber produced by the emulsion polymerization method?
Styrene-butadiene latex is a functional macromolecule synthesized through emulsion polymerization of butyric acid resin and styrene; styrene-butadiene rubber seems to be just one type of such material. Personal opinion, for reference only.
