The vortex flowmeters from Yokogawa cannot communicate using BT200; the BT200 devices themselves are fine, and other flowmeters can communicate, but one particular unit will not communicate no matter what. All the flowmeters in this batch have the same model number. Please, experienced colleagues, explain what’s going on

Yokogawa’s vortex flowmeters also come with the HART protocol; if the letter Y in DYXXX-Y XXXX is D, then it uses the BRAIN protocol and can communicate using BT200. If Y is E, then it uses the HART protocol, and BT200 cannot be used in that case. There is also other code for FFBUS and ProfiBUS.

Why no extra points? That’s really unfair.
Today, I checked the serial number and confirmed it is in accordance with the Brown protocol; therefore, the inability of this watch to communicate is likely due to a problem with it. I plan to consult the manufacturer about this
You can try connecting a 250-ohm resistor in series; I’ve used that approach before and it works, so it’s worth giving it a try.
If a 250 resistor doesn’t work, you can use one with a higher value; try 500.
There must be a problem with the communication module of the vortex flow meter.
It must be that the agreement is incorrect! The BT-200 should be based on the Brown protocol, while your instrument uses the Hart protocol
