Modification of Aspen model parameters and secondary development

Have you all noticed that the models and data available in Aspen are quite limited? In our research work, have you found that the simulation results produced by it differ significantly from our experimental results? Once, when using Aspen to simulate the reaction in a rotary kiln for producing sulfuric acid from phosphogypsum, I found that the results differed significantly from those obtained through experiments. I’m not sure how to adjust the parameters of the reactor. Does anyone have any training materials on modifying Aspen’s built-in models that I could use for analysis?
