Recently, a carbon black company invited me for an interview, but I know nothing about companies of that type. May I ask experts what kinds of instruments are commonly used in such companies?

There’s no need to worry; the control systems and field instruments involved in the carbon black production process include a DCS system, as well as conventional field instruments ； Both Blue Star and Cabot use EMERSON’s DCS; the field instruments are standard ones for measuring flow, pressure, temperature, and level. The field analysis instruments include pH meters, conductivity meters, etc., with nothing special about them.
Suzhou Baohua Carbon Black also uses EMERSON’s DCS/transmitters/valves/flowmeters. All three phases.
Thank you. I went for the interview, and they use a central control system; I guess there’s nothing else to consider. Additionally, I need to go to one of their other companies for training before I can start working. It’s just that the benefits aren’t very good.
