Everyone, can 20# carbon steel flanges be used with SS304 pipes? Please discuss this; those with expertise, please provide answers. If it’s possible, what measures are required? I see that many devices are supported by carbon steel flanges or carbon steel brackets
It depends on the medium involved. If 304 steel is chosen for the pipes, it indicates that the medium may be corrosive, in which case it’s not suitable; if it’s still necessary to use this material, then the right welding electrodes must be selected. Additionally, the material used for pipe supports is completely different from that used for pipe fittings. You probably rarely see stainless steel pipe supports
