Issues regarding ammonia pressurization in sulfur recovery

I recently encountered a request for quotes like this. In the sulfur recovery process, an ammonia-compressing compressor is used, which is roughly responsible for compressing ammonia from 2 kg of absolute pressure to 20 kg of absolute pressure. . . I’m not sure at which stage of the sulfur recovery process this is used, and why ammonia is used as the compression medium ? ? ? ? ? Thank you all
I’ve never come across this before, but I guess it uses ammonia for cooling?
I don’t know the specific process, but I guess a compressor is used to recover the ammonia from it!
It is the ammonia compressor used in the ammonia extraction process via a side stream in the acid water stripping unit. Finally, the ammonia pressure is applied to the full-pressure ammonia liquid storage tank.
In the acidic water stripping unit used in sulfur recovery, the main component of the gas drawn from the side line of the stripper is ammonia; this ammonia is compressed by an ammonia compressor and then cooled to produce liquid ammonia.
Some sulfur recovery units simply burn off the ammonia instead of recovering it, thereby polluting the environment
