What are the reasons for the increased operating current of the stirrer in the desulfurization absorption tower?

This post was last edited by zgj2405 on 2011-7-3 at 13:09. A certain 30OMW unit’s desulfurization absorption tower is equipped with 3 agitators in total. The current drawn by one of the agitators in this tower keeps increasing during operation; once it stops and is restarted, the current returns to normal levels. However, after operating for a while again, the current starts to increase once more. What could be the cause of this?
1. Check whether the lubricating oil has emulsified； 2. When the mixer is in operation, does the gearbox get hot? If so, check the gears ； 3. Check the motor bearings
