What issues should be considered when removing trays from a plate tower?
This issue is so broad that I don’t know where to start. Basically, you first stop the tower, haha, and then start removing the panels – it mainly involves tightening nuts; nothing special about it
Safety first; this is the most important thing to keep in mind.
In accordance with the techniques for shutting down chemical production facilities, pressure and temperature are reduced first, followed by purging and cleaning; water distillation may be carried out if necessary. After that, the manhole is opened, samples are taken for analysis to ensure they meet the required standards, and specialized tools are used to carry out operations inside the tower
If the material is highly corrosive and the connectors are severely corroded, destructive disassembly is required.
