The vacuum condenser of the turbine is under negative pressure; is the pressure at the inlet of the condensate transfer pump positive or negative? I appreciate your advice, thank you
It can be negative pressure; when the pump is operating, the pressure at the pump inlet should be lower than the pressure inside the tank!

Does that mean the pressure at the pump inlet is lower than that inside the tank, and it is only under this pressure difference that pumping can take place properly?

However, the pressure at the inlet is higher than that in the condenser, as the center level at the inlet of the condensation pump is usually 1-2 meters lower than the liquid level in the condenser’s collection tank

Of course it’s negative pressure. How high that negative pressure can reach depends on the performance of the pump itself
Inlet pressure = static pressure due to the difference in liquid level heights + negative pressure inside the container; determine whether it is positive or negative.
