And “**Responses from the leaders of the General Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine regarding pressure vessels**”: Time period: November 2008 to August 2008. Question: After obtaining an A2 or D2 level manufacturing license, do pressure vessel manufacturing companies still need to get a corresponding manufacturing license for caps if they intend to produce such caps? Answer: Pressure vessel manufacturing enterprises that have obtained an A2 or D2 level manufacturing license do not need to acquire a separate manufacturing license for caps in order to produce them. To produce end caps, is an A3 qualification required or not? (For example: “**Reponses from the head of the Quality Inspection Administration regarding pressure vessels**”)
It’s not necessary~ Saying that one needs an A3 certificate to manufacture heads independently doesn’t mean that an A3 certificate is a requirement for doing so~ It’s like saying that 4 is greater than 2; it doesn’t mean that 4 must be the only number that can be greater than 2, since 3 is also greater than 2. (Personal opinion)
