Installation of blast relief valves

Dear experts: I was wondering if anyone knows the precautions for installing burst discs. Our company needs to install burst discs in its chemical reaction tanks. We have already engaged a firm to carry out the design work, but the dimensions specified in that design are too large; our reaction tanks do not have interfaces that can meet those requirements. Is it possible to install two burst discs, so that their combined area is larger than the size specified in the design?
Section 4.0.6 of \"HG-T 20570.3-1995 Installation and Selection of Pressure Relief Valves\" stipulates that: \"To increase the unloading area under abnormal operating conditions (such as fires), pressure relief valves can be used in parallel.\" In other words, the person who installed the rupture disc did so to prevent fires and explosions; therefore they can be used in parallel, but the explosion venting area must meet the required standards (HG/T 20570.3-1995 – Calculation criteria are provided in the section on the installation and selection of rupture discs).
