Reply to 1# Crazy Basketball: Fluctuations in hydrogen pressure are a problem encountered by many manufacturers. I believe that since hydrogen is under positive pressure, when the hydrogen vent valve is adjusted, air bubbles are formed, which causes fluctuations in the water level of the hydrogen water seal and thus leads to fluctuations in hydrogen pressure. I have two methods for discussion: (1) Add a horizontal pipe at the gas outlet of the hydrogen water seal, with holes in it, so that small bubbles can form when adjusting the hydrogen valve, thereby preventing fluctuations in the water seal level. (2) The simplest method is to add water while adjusting the hydrogen vent volume to maintain a stable water level, and simultaneously adjust the hydrogen vent valve slowly.
During the venting operation, the valve opening was too large, resulting in an excessive amount of hydrogen being released from the system. The valve located on the hydrogen main pipe did not adjust in time, which caused a negative pressure within the system (this is very dangerous). When hydrogen gas escapes from the water seal, it causes the water surface to boil like boiling water, resulting in severe fluctuations in system pressure.
