The variable frequency drive of the boiler feed water pump was damaged; an electric control valve was used to regulate the water supply volume, with a regulation range of 0–15 m3/h. This valve broke after about 20 days of use. Was it due to a quality issue with the actuator itself, or was it caused by the large regulation range?

There is no inevitable connection between a faulty inverter and a faulty actuator. A faulty actuator may be due to operational reasons or inherent quality issues.
