Questions regarding the installation of steam traps

May I ask everyone, is it possible to install the steam trap vertically? Also, does anyone have the approximate dimensions of the steam trap?
I’ve never seen them in a vertical installation; the nominal diameter of steam traps is generally DN50 or less.
A steam trap won’t function when installed vertically; it actually operates on the principle of a communicating vessel, much like a water seal tank. How can it work when installed in this way? !

Reply to 4# doe_luwei: It doesn’t seem to exist. When we work on such projects, we usually use sizes below DN50, with DN40 being the most common; this is just what I have encountered in my experience.
The thermostatic type (bimetallic) and thermodynamic type (disc) of pressure relief valves can be installed in any direction; vertical installation is certainly possible. Additionally, among the mechanical types, the free floating ball type, inverted bucket type, and lever floating ball type all come in vertical installation versions; the external dimensions of steam traps vary greatly, making it impossible to specify them.
