Does anyone know what each letter stands for in the EHNKS50/60 type turbines produced by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co.?
The maximum steam inlet parameters suitable for the EHNK type turbine are 14 MPa and 535°C, while the maximum extraction steam pressure is 4.5 MPa. Model designation: N – intake conditions are at atmospheric pressure; K – exhaust section is of the condensing type. For example, EHNKS 50/56/75: 50 represents the inner radius of the outer cylinder’s rotor chamber, 56 represents the root diameter of the final stage rotor, and 75 refers to the extended section. N – the outer cylinder is under atmospheric pressure; H – the outer cylinder is under high pressure; E – steam extraction turbine; K – condensing turbine
