Selection of gear pump inlet filter

Generally, a pipeline filter needs to be installed before the pump; since the gear pump is used as a feed pump for lubricating oil, it’s not clear what type of filter would be suitable. For this, a 60-mesh filter is usually sufficient
A basket filter is a suitable choice, as it has a large filtering area and is less prone to clogging
