I need information urgently – it relates to the oil filter for coke oven gas compressors, namely the unit used to filter the lubricating oil in the filter tank over time. What is the filtration precision of the filter element in this unit, in microns? Waiting online for an answer
3um should be fine. Go and ask in the equipment area; there are many experts there. What kind of machine do you have – centrifugal or reciprocating? It should be specified in the accompanying documents as well
5 microns is sufficient; too small is beneficial for the unit, but the oil pressure difference increases rapidly.
For reciprocating machines, I think 5UM isn’t right. The filter mesh precision of the air filter oil purifier we use is 5UM, which ensures complete oil filtration. . For a oil filter model 5UN, what should be the filtration speed like? . . .
A 3um filter will suffice
It can’t be that small, right? ≤10μm should be sufficient; isn’t the filtration precision of ordinary compressors 10μm? Our oil filters have a filtration precision of ≤10μm

In the case of centrifugal compressors, which operate at relatively high speeds, 1250-mesh filters are generally used, with a filtration precision of 10 microns. These data come from the supporting units of SHENGU and HANGQI. The unit speed is 8000; see if that works for you. The filtration precision is primarily considered for controlling the oil system. 3 microns is for dry gas sealing. 5 microns is for the primary fine filtration filter of demineralized water. 1 micron is nonsense.
