Pipes smaller than DN80 are used; using larger ones poses problems during processing. It mainly depends on the size of the tank or container, which should facilitate the processing of the coiled tubes. For this aspect, answers can be found by referring to the chemical process design manual.

It can be processed using standard series pipes: outer diameter x wall thickness 32x3.5; 45x3.5 ; 57x3.5,76x4,89x4
The pipe diameter is determined based on the flow rate of the hot and cold fluid streams inside the coil. As for the thickness... it’s whatever the container designer writes down; on good days they write 3mm, and on bad days they write 5mm.
What does pipe diameter refer to? Size? Coils are primarily obtained by bending straight pipes of different specifications
There are no specific regulations; it is usually DN100 or below. The wall thickness is around 4 in all cases; as long as the heat exchange requirements are met, that’s sufficient.
