Treatment of residual chlorine in exhaust HCl

Dear seniors: I have a problem that I’d like to ask for your help with. In my company’s chlorination process, the HCl in the exhaust gases has a high concentration of hypochlorous acid after being absorbed by water; customers are not willing to purchase hydrochloric acid as a result, which is really troublesome! Is there a cost-effective approach that involves first removing chlorine from the exhaust gases before dealing with HCl?
Try increasing HCL to see.
Filtering with activated carbon can adsorb the residual chlorine.
