On the return water pipeline for the burner cooling water, there is a safety valve in front of XV0719 (the return water cut-off valve). Its setting pressure is 6.2 Mpa. What is the purpose of this safety valve? ?
Reply 1# liuyanguo2010: Due to the interlocked shutdown of the burner cooling water system, the inlet and outlet valves for the burner cooling water will be automatically closed. That safety valve is there to prevent the burner’s cooling water coil from being damaged; high-pressure gas escaping from it is prevented by this safety valve.
I agree with what was said on the second floor; however, the pressure of the cooling water for the burners in the space furnace is higher than that in the vaporization furnace. If there is a leak in the burner coils, the cooling water will leak into the vaporization furnace. That’s why the cooling water system for the burners in the space furnace does not have safety valves.

Is it a safety valve designed to prevent overpressure caused by the vaporization of the burner cooling water, with the inlet and outlet valves for that water fully closed?
Reply to 4# liuyanguo2010: How could it leak from the gas-liquid separator? The safety valve is installed in front of the cut-off valve at the burner cooling water outlet.
Reply to 6# mozhiyang: That’s right, you’re correct. But after the safety valve activates, the flow is directed to behind the outlet shut-off valve.

Reply to 6# mozhiyang: The safety valve bypasses the valve that supplies cooling water to the burner, allowing gas to enter the burner’s cooling water gas-water separator and thus return to the incineration system from the top!
