How can the packing be cleaned online without shutting down the air-cooled or water-cooled tower? ? ? ? Has anyone done it? How effective is it? ? ?
For air-cooled towers, we simply open the bottom drain valve and increase the water spray volume slightly; the effect is average!
It seems that a cleaning agent is added to the water cooling tower, and then air cooling is used to remove sediment and scale; I’m not aware of the details.........
Just add a cleaning agent to the tank; for specific details, please consult the water treatment manufacturer.
This type of online cleaning can easily lead to molecular sieve-related accidents; although the cleaning companies are experienced, it still seems somewhat unsafe. Monitor the water quality regularly over five to six years; upon disassembly, the packing material remains quite clean.
Our factory also uses online cleaning methods nowadays; this involves opening the waste discharge valve and increasing the water flow rate. The results are average – not very good!
Reply to 3# Air separation science*: Adding additives tends to cause foaming, and foaming can lead to molecular sieve-related accidents! ! ! ! ! ! !
Reply to 7# Wu Congjun: A cleaning agent was added; it’s not known how much foam will be generated. At this point, certain measures must be taken, such as adjusting the dosage and the duration of the process, as well as activating the bypass circuits to increase the efficiency of the hydrophobic treatment. There should be no problems...
There must be a problem online. Besides, how can an air-cooling tower be cleaned online as you said? It definitely has to be shut down first.
Be careful of molecular sieve water poisoning – that’s the main issue; it’s too risky, and the air volume will be lost as soon as it becomes stable.
Online cleaning is not necessary; it can be done after the vehicle has stopped!
