Is it good to work as a meter reader?

I worked at a chemical plant in Hubei for a year as a gasification operator, and I also spent two years working as an operator in the air separation control room and on site. I really want to change careers; would it be a good idea for me to switch to working with instruments?
As long as you have perseverance and determination, changing careers isn’t difficult at all! It should be understood, however, that every industry has its advantages and disadvantages, which require careful analysis.
Things will get better; everyone can succeed with effort. Don’t be afraid, and don’t regret it
