We are about to put a new petrochemical plant into operation – how can we, on behalf of the client, carry out effective project management throughout the construction process? What are its main job responsibilities?

During the construction process, it is first necessary to ensure that the contractor implements appropriate safety measures and follows them; then, based on the construction drawings, it is important to monitor whether the contractor builds in accordance with those drawings. Additionally, progress must be checked to confirm that construction is being carried out as planned. Throughout the construction process, it is also essential to coordinate the work among different construction teams.
Specifically, construction safety shall be ensured in accordance with GB50484-2008, and construction quality shall be guaranteed in line with GB50252-2010; at the same time, the construction schedule shall be properly coordinated to complete the tasks with both quality and quantity ensured.
