Is it in the AO parameters?
In AO, it is possible to change the valve to a normally open or normally closed type. The positive and negative effects of PID scheduling are within the PID block
I don’t understand. Aneurysm opening/closing and positive/negative action aren’t the same thing? If there is a PID, then there must be an AO as well. So how do I change it? ? Change both? Just change the PID. Which parameter is it? ? I just think “Increase to close” is a bit similar. It’s not certain.
Increase to close refers to changing the valve from open to closed; changing the direction of operation is represented by the option “Direct”
Do you need to change the on-site switch, or the way deviation adjustment is implemented? ?
You’re modifying the valve configuration, right? You just need to change the parameters in AO; I can’t really remember which ones exactly.

The \"Increase to Close\" option in the IO_OPTS settings of the AO and PID modules determines how the valve actuator operates: select this option if it should operate in the open position in case of a fault, and do not select it if it should operate in the closed position. The direction of operation is specified through the \"Direct_Acting\" option in the CONTROL_OPTS settings of the PID module. This concept of direction refers to the sum or difference between the set value and the feedback value, and it is not the same as the direction of operation of the valve actuator. If the positive and negative feedback values of PID are set to 20%, the actual valve opening degree will be 80%. Its regulating function is inversely proportional. For example, in heat exchangers, temperature is used to control the flow rate on the water side. If it is the effect of hot water heating. Just use the positive effect. If it is cooling by cold water, use the reverse effect. The on-air and off-air characteristics of AO refer to the inherent properties of the valve. When adjusting, it remains at the actual opening degree set. I’m not sure if this is the right way to understand it? What about double-acting valves then? Is there any difference?
