During desulfurization, if the regenerator temperature is low, combustion oil must be injected to maintain the regenerator temperature. In my opinion, there are two purposes: one is to ensure burning, and the other is to prevent low temperatures from affecting the catalyst and sludge.
If the temperature is too low, proper burning in the regenerator does not occur, and the catalyst surface tends to accumulate oil. Oil has a certain viscosity, which can cause the catalyst particles to stick together, resulting in clumping.
