I haven’t seen it; we all make estimates based on flow meter samples. I was wondering if anyone has any good methods?

There are so many options – who knows what you need? Different manufacturers offer different products. If one were to estimate the flow rate based solely on the pipe diameter, it wouldn’t be that complicated; there are reference values for the average flow velocity of many fluids, and the flow data provided by instruments is determined based on the process conditions!
The poster’s request is difficult to fulfill. Firstly, there are different types of flowmeters, and their calculation software also varies. Secondly: different flowmeter manufacturers have different calculation software, depending on the characteristics of their products. Thirdly, for certain differential pressure flowmeters that meet specific standards, such as orifice plates, there are relevant standard calculation software available, and virtually all design firms possess it. The software from some manufacturers cannot be given to just anyone.

Reply 1# nihaocarter: Different flowmeters use different algorithms. There’s a problem with the flow meter in our factory, and we need to recalculate it; we always contact the manufacturer to do this. It is recommended to contact the manufacturer.
