OP, single-flange level gauges are quite easy to calibrate: 1. Close the liquid connection valve, expose the positive and negative pressure chambers to the atmosphere, and calibrate the zero point. 2. Calculate the differential pressure across the full range of liquid levels to perform full-scale calibration. 3. Re-check the zero position. 4. Re-perform full-scale calibration. OK
For the calibration of single-flange level gauges, the primary valve is usually closed and the vent is opened to connect with the atmosphere; the zero point is then adjusted directly using Hart. To reach the desired range, use a portable pressure pump to achieve that range, and then make the adjustments directly.
The measurement principle of the single-flange level gauge is also based on pressure difference; it is generally used to measure the level in tanks at atmospheric pressure. In the case of sealed tanks, it is necessary to lead a pressure tube from the top of the tank to a negative-pressure chamber. The zero-point and range adjustment of the single-flange level gauge in atmospheric-pressure tanks is generally used when the flange is below the bottom of the tank, and the level zero-point and pressure zero-point are not aligned. If the reading is not zero after removing the level gauge, it indicates that there is a problem with the diaphragm box. In such cases, using zero-point adjustment can still allow for level measurement, but the accuracy of these readings cannot be guaranteed. But if you don’t mention it, it’s hard to detect the issue; for levels that aren’t critical, it’s possible to make do with it. . .
