However, abroad, a type of vane-driven pump is being studied; it resembles a water pump. Coal powder enters the pump at low pressure and exits it at high pressure, with the mechanical power of the pump itself being used to overcome the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. Due to this pressure difference, the pump must have excellent sealing properties. I wonder if there are any studies on this topic in China, and whether anyone is aware of information related to it?
You mean something similar to the principle of a Fuller pump, right?
I hope such a pump exists, as it would **reduce the investment required for air separation**
Pratt & Whitney in the United States is conducting research in this area and has already achieved results; everyone should pay attention to it! Planned for use in PWR gasification.
