Currently, the prevailing local prices have risen to between 2,900 and 3,000 yuan per ton. Some buyers are engaged in negotiations, and the trading atmosphere is decent with steady transactions taking place. Recently, downstream factories have been purchasing as needed, and intermediaries are also actively buying in. Coupled with the limited supply available from coke producers, the enthusiasm for raising prices remains strong. However, the upward trend in industrial naphthalene has temporarily come to a halt; coal tar and carbon black remain weak. The continuous emergence of high-quality supply sources is putting additional pressure on factories. It is expected that in the short term, the Henan coal tar market will mainly see price increases as a response to these conditions.
