For long-distance pipelines used for the sequential transport of refined oil, which have intermediate pumping stations, what is the procedure for the first time of starting transportation? Skip the intermediate pumping station? Should we start the pump at the intermediate pumping station? At low flow rates, the first station has the capability to pump water all the way to the end. I would appreciate it if experts could help me figure out how to control this process.

Start the pumps at the first station, and then at the intermediate stations. When beginning transportation, make sure that the flow rate increases gradually; in other words, the first station should not operate at full capacity right away. How many pumps do you have in total? It can’t be that all of them are broken.
