In the post I made yesterday, there were some spelling mistakes; I’m correcting them now. (1) Medium: Formaldehyde (with 70% water content). Pipe diameter: DN50. Pressure: 3 kg. Normal flow rate: 14.5 m3/h. Temperature: 45°C. (2) Medium: Urine formaldehyde. Pipe diameter: DN15. Pressure: 6 kg. Normal flow rate: 0.4–0.8 m3/h (maximum flow rate is 1 m3/h). Temperature: 110°C. The technical parameters in yesterday’s post were incomplete due to haste in posting. I would like to apologize to those who responded; I really appreciate your feedback. I’ve corrected the information now and hope to get your advice… Thank you!
It is not used for trade measurement, but only for general monitoring; therefore, mass flow meters are not under consideration. . .
I saw your post yesterday as well; today, with the specific data you provided, it’s much easier to make a choice. 1. Formaldehyde (70% water content) can be used with A. The oval gear flow meter, made of 304 stainless steel, has the advantages of simple installation and a long service life. The positive displacement flow meter offers high accuracy, provided that the fluid does not contain any particulate impurities or bubbles. The downside is that the price is relatively high compared to electromagnetic ones. B. Electromagnetic flowmeters are also a good option; their advantages include high precision, no pressure loss, and easy installation. The downside is that it requires a lot. For example, to achieve a perfect result, the medium must be free of bubbles, as air does not conduct electricity. The temperature should generally not exceed 60 degrees. 2. Urine formaldehyde: a chemical liquid. Due to a temperature of 110 degrees and a pressure of 6 KG, type A is generally used for such special operating conditions. The elliptical gear flowmeter made of 304 stainless steel has the same advantages as mentioned above. If B has enough money, they can use mass flow meters or ultrasonic flow meters; the latter are more expensive.

The flow rate of the second medium is very low. Also, because the tube is small, the gears inside it are small as well; can it withstand a pressure of 6 kg? I hadn’t come across this type of flow meter before, hehe

The helical gear flow meter belongs to the category of positive displacement flow meters; it offers high accuracy, is easy to install, has a long service life, and requires low maintenance costs. Don’t worry about the flow rate range – your specified range falls exactly between the maximum and minimum flow rates that an elliptical gear flow meter can handle, so the performance will be excellent. In terms of pressure, we can withstand a maximum of 6.3 KG of pressure.
Elliptical gear flowmeters are now rarely used; they are on the verge of being phased out. Moreover, they are mechanical in design, prone to wear, and difficult to maintain. It is recommended that you use an electromagnetic flowmeter, a orifice plate flowmeter, or a vortex flowmeter. If high measurement accuracy is required, a mass flow meter can be considered, but its cost will be higher than that of the former.

Reply to 6# Wild Lion: It’s a vortex flow meter; the pipe diameter is only DN15, and the pressure is 6 kg. I’m not sure if it will work Mass flow meters are not under consideration for small factories. . . . You know what I mean: lol
Reply to 8# Fanhua Suiluo: Parameters related to the vortex flow meter (for reference only). For a DN15PN40 device handling liquid media, the flow rate ranges from 0.3 to 4 m3/h.
