Regarding the fluctuations in pressure values displayed on Zhejiang University’s ZKDCS system, there are several possible reasons for this phenomenon. First, determine the on-site pressure reading once
Check in the control room whether the current signal coming from the field is stable; if it is stable, the issue lies in a stuck component or loose connection, etc.; otherwise, it is a field-related problem, such as a wiring fault or a transmitter fault
First, determine whether the process medium is stable, and then check whether the current output by the transmitter is stable!
For instrument inspection, check the mechanical part first, then the electrical part~ Hardware before software!
Pressure is a physically sensitive quantity; if a location with stable pressure is chosen during installation, the fluctuations will be minimal. Another factor is the effectiveness of the shielding around the signal wires. Generally, there’s no need to doubt the card; it’s a system issue.
