Discussion on the service life of nanofiltration membranes in the chlor-alkali industry
Reply to 1# huangjsh1969: The normal service life of our product is around 18 months.
Reply to 2# huangjsh1969: I heard that some factories use them for 3 years; I’m not sure if that’s true. If it’s true, I’d be happy to communicate with them.
This post was last edited by apxyj on 2011-8-22 at 12:57. It does indeed last around 3 years, but given the relatively low load capacity of its design, it’s not surprising that it has a longer lifespan. Additionally, it is also related to the membrane core used.
The service life of membranes is influenced not only by the pretreatment processes but also by issues related to the quality of the membrane core itself and the management level of the company. Of course, regular cleaning and maintenance of the membranes are also crucial
Well, the membranes used are different, and the circumstances vary as well. But I haven’t worked with saline, so I don’t have any opinion on that
