Our company is building a new factory, and the distillation residues (flammable) may generate around 1 ton per day. I would like to ask everyone: what is the common practice for dealing with such residues? Can it be reused? Could everyone please share their thoughts?

Discuss it to determine whether recycling and extraction are necessary. If, after considering all of the above, there is no need for recycling, then incineration is the only option.

The waste gases, residues, and leftovers generated during distillation are generally sent to specialized treatment facilities for incineration or treatment with alkaline solutions. Incineration is used because chlorosilanes contain MDCS, DCS, STC, and TCS, which have low ignition points and ignite as a result of the heat released during hydrolysis.

Generally, one first analyzes what the main components are and whether they are useful within the company; if so, they can be reused. Then go and find out which companies purchase such substances, so you can sell them to them. In the end, nothing will help; if it’s hazardous waste, it should be disposed of by qualified entities.
From an environmental protection perspective, distillation residues are hazardous waste and must be treated to render them harmless by qualified entities.

Which factory produces it? Which process stage?
Check your safety assessment and environmental impact assessment reports, and compare them with the **standards** to determine whether it constitutes hazardous waste. If it does, it must be handled by a qualified organization; it cannot be processed on your own.
